How do settlements work between the network and its locations?
Every dollar owed, calculated from what actually sold. Fees, royalties, splits and rebates settle from the same ledger the orders were born on. HQ sees what it's owed by location and by period. Locations see what they keep. Both numbers came from the same row, so nobody reconciles anything against anything. Run them on the schedule the agreement names: weekly, monthly, on payout, at season end. A refund landing after the settlement adjusts the next one instead of forcing a correction. When a franchisee disputes a fee, the settlement shows the order that generated it, down to the line, and the conversation is over in a minute.
What it used to cost you: A reconciliation at quarter end that never quite closed.
The feature is called Settlements. It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.
