Looking for an OrderMyGear alternative after the Inktavo merger?

OrderMyGear and Inktavo, the owner of InkSoft and Printavo, announced a merger, and all three companies published it on their own sites. [1] [2] [3] If you run stores on any of them, you now have one vendor where you used to have a choice of three, and a roadmap that will be consolidated on somebody else’s timeline. That is a reasonable moment to look around. This page is an honest map of the options, including where we are the wrong answer.

The honest map

What each option is actually good at.

Staying putTeams already deep in the workflow, with stores and history in place. Migration is real work and inertia is a legitimate answer.Ask directly which product carries the roadmap now, and get the answer in writing rather than at a booth.
Another single-seller store platformOne shop or one dealer that wants templates and a monthly price.Who holds the admin seat, what percentage of your orders they take, and what it takes to leave with your data.
Print shop management softwareRunning the floor: scheduling, job tracking, production. These solve a different problem. Most shops end up running one of these plus a store platform.
Building it yourselfCompanies with an engineering team and a reason to own the code. The configurator alone is a multi-year build. Price the artwork pipeline honestly before you commit.
BrandforaNetworks: franchise systems, buying groups, dealer and rep networks, distributors and decorators running many stores under one name, where headquarters wants the admin seat.We are early. If you need a decade of references, we are not that. Ask us what is live and what is in progress and we will tell you.

The question worth asking any of them

Seven rules, no partial credit. Score every vendor on your list.

#Ask the vendor
1Who holds the top admin seat, me or you?
2Whose name is on the store, the receipt and the email my customer receives?
3Do purchase orders raise on my own supplier account numbers, so my rebate tiers attribute?
4Does the money settle through my payment account, or through yours?
5What percentage of my sellers’ orders do you take, and what do you charge per seat?
6What does it cost me, in time, to open a store for a small customer?
7Can I see every sale from every channel, including the tools I already run, in one place?

We built a category around those seven answers and we score seven. Run them on us on a demo and run them on everyone else in the same week. If another vendor answers all seven the way you need, take them. The point of publishing the test is that you should not have to take our word for any of it.

Thirty minutes, one of your customers’ web addresses, and a straight answer about whether switching is worth it for you.
