Questions ยท Catalog, sourcing and pricing
How do I stop locations selling brands they are not allowed to carry?
Enforced at the catalog, not suggested in a memo. Some brands can't be sold on a public store, or decorated a certain way, or sold by certain accounts. Set the restriction per supplier, per brand, per store type. A restricted brand can't be listed where it isn't allowed, so it never shows up on a store that shouldn't carry it. The compliance desk at the supplier stops calling, and your rep there stops apologizing for you. A rapid store built from a domain inherits the rules before it exists, so the restriction is never something a rep has to remember.
What it used to cost you: A brand pulled from a store after the supplier's compliance team found it first.
The feature is called Restricted brands. It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.
