Split shipments

One order, several boxes, one tracking view for the buyer.

When lines route to different floors or warehouses, each ships from where it's made and the buyer sees every tracking number on one order. Partial ships are handled as partial ships, not as a support ticket. The receipt updates as each box leaves. Each floor prints its own packing slip under the store's name, and the buyer's order page fills in box by box. If one line is held or delayed, the rest ship anyway and the buyer sees which piece is still coming. HQ sees the same view, so the support call, if it comes, is a thirty-second answer.
